 The
Idaho Falls Community Outreach Center provides a centralized location for a variety
of community services, rent-free, so they can adequately fund their own missions,
making our community more hospitable. The COC houses:
• Soup Kitchen
• Community Literacy Council
• FISH (Friends in Service Here)
• FREEMED
• Partners for the Prosperity
The COC also organizes an annual Alternate Giving Fair, which brings together more
than 20 differnt local charities in a coordinated fundraising effort. In 2008, that
event raised more than $20,000 in cash and in-kind donations.
The COC is run with donations and is managed by a Board of Directors.
