Idaho Falls Community Outreach Center provides a centralized location for a variety
of community services, rent-free, so they can focus on their own missions,
making our community more hospitable. The COC houses:
• Soup Kitchen
• Community Literacy Council
• Emergency Housing Exchange (EHE)
• Friends in Service Here (FISH)
• FREEMED
• Partners for the Prosperity
The COC also organizes an annual Alternate Giving Fair, which brings together more than 20 different local charities in a coordinated fundraising effort. Last year, the event raised more than $20,000 for area charities.
The COC is run with donations and is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
